I have been practising in the yoga tradition of Krishnamacharya and Desikachar since 1997, teaching since 2000. My inspiring one-to-one teacher, the late Jenny Bullough, paved the way for me to immerse myself in various modes of study, from the practitioner training programme with Paul Harvey, to the Centre for Yoga Studies Further Studies course; one-to-one study later with Mike Young; Definitive Yoga Sutra study with Dave Charlton and Ranju Roy of Sadhana Mala; Vedic chanting teacher training with Sheela Shankar of Yoga Nidhi; Pregnancy Yoga training with Gail Charlton; and most recently, yoga therapy training with Sadhana Mala and Cikitsa Krama. I have also been studying with Sriram, long-term student of TKV Desikachar, in India and online for the past four years. Our yoga tradition is rich with opportunities to learn!
I teach group classes and one-to-one yoga therapy at my home studio in the beautiful Welsh Borders, and I run an online chanting class. This year, I also for the first time jointly led a yoga retreat in Pelion, Greece with Janet Evans, and we have already booked in dates for 2026 and 2027. |

Chanting is my passion, and the power of the voice is something that really resonates--literally and figuratively--with me; yoga in all its various forms is what sustains me. My own practice continues to be a vital support and a positive presence in my life. What started with a body-oriented practice has turned into a support for all the changes that occur throughout a life.
